Fall Events at the Lone Pine Hall

Neighbours in the Lone Pine Alberta area get together over coffee, help each other during the fall harvest, with calving, and even get together for social activities at the local community hall. In the fall months, the greatest event is the Kids Halloween Party! We close up our year with the Annual General Meeting.

Kids Halloween Party

Get ready for ghoulish good times at our 5th annual creep-tastic Halloween party! There'll be snacks, desserts and party games little kids - and big kids - will love.

This rural local event is free and always well attended with 60 little Ghosts and Goblins enjoying the games, candy and snacks.

Please check back for the date of our 2017 Halloween Party.

This is a free event but you must RSVP. Call or Text 403-507-5300 or e-mail lonepineagsociety@gmail.com.

Annual General Meeting

As a registered Agricultural Society in Alberta, the Lone Pine Ag Society is required to hold an Annual General Meeting to report yearly actions and achievements to the general membership. Membership fees of $2.00 per person may be renewed at the meeting. Anyone wishing to be involved with the Society Board may also volunteer or be nominated at the meeting.

We are always looking for new members to join our Board and participate in our great little community. Call our President, Ian McCulloch if you have any questions, 403-335-4934, or email us at lonepineagsociety@gmail.com.

Our Annual General Meeting for the year ending 2017, will be announced at the end of the year. Please check back, then plan to come and visit with your friends and neighbours.

In order to maintain our Agricultural Society status and continue to receive annual funding of $22,000, we require a board of 12 volunteers. Board meetings are held monthly.

If you would like to come onto the Board, contact us at 403-335-4934 for more information.

JC McCulloch Award
Each year since 1985 the Lone Pine Ag Society has honoured a local citizen for dedicated service to the rural community with the JC McCulloch Award. Named for an early local resident, the award recognizes significant social, cultural or economic activities that have contributed to the general good in the county area. Nominations for each year's JC McCulloch Award are to be forwarded to the Lone Pine Ag Society in December.
